The Department Time Collection Checklist function allows the user to print a list of
all employees who are due to be paid for a certain pay period from their department.
In order to print the checklist, you must:
Have access to IDTC - Dept Time Collect and the printer selection function. If you need
access, consult your DSA.
Note to DSA's: To grant access
to the printer selection function for an employee, go to into DACSS system. The OASIS
function they need access to is PPADMDEP. This is an overnight update. AN EMPLOYEE MUST
SELECT A PRINTER BEFORE PRINTING THE FIRST TIME.
Have access to a printer that is connected to the AIS mainframe. Note: If you don't
know whether you have a printer nearby connected to the AIS mainframe, consult your
CSC.)
Select the printer where you will print the checklist. Please make sure you select a
printer that is located in your department. Otherwise the checklist you print will end up
somewhere else on the campus. If you are in doubt about which printer to select, please
consult with your CSC.
Go to IDTC to select the checklist. Once the checklist is displayed, press F11 - Prt
Lst.
Note: If you will always be printing at the same printer, this step needs to
be taken only once - the first time you want to print a checklist. If you have already
selected a default printer in order to produce IDOCs from the EDB, you do NOT need
to select another default printer for the checklist.
Logon onto OASIS.
Enter PPP to access Personnel/Payroll.
Enter UCSA to access the System Administration Menu.
Enter PRNT to access the Printer Selection Menu.
Your cursor will be positioned in the "Number of copies" field. If you wish to
print more than one copy, change the number and press enter. Otherwise, just TAB to the
next field.
If the printer is listed on the first page of the Printer Selection Menu, skip to the
next step. Use the F8 key to scroll forward until the printer you wish to select is
displayed on the screen.

printer you wish to select and press the "Enter" key.
A message should be displayed that the "Input is Accepted". Press the F9 key
to update. This printer will remain as your selected printer until you select a different
