Employee Case Assist / PUM Upgrade Projects

Your UCPath experience just got easier! UCPath launched the PUM 47 Upgrade and Automate Disability Reinstatement projects on March 11. Use this page to learn everything you need to know about the March 2024 Release.

Note: Updates to the Employee Case Assist project have been postponed.

Overview

The UCPath March 2024 Release included updates to:

PUM 47 Upgrade: This includes a MuleSoft 4.4 upgrade and a migration of GoAnywhere hosting to Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Automate Disability Reinstatement: Voluntary disability plans will be automatically reinstated, when applicable, for employees returning from an approved Leave of Absence (LOA).

Updates to the following projects have been postponed:

Employee Case Assist: Updates to the Employee Case Assist functionalities have been postponed due to UCPC testing.
Manage Job Tile: UCLA will be postponing implementation of the Manage Job Tile release.

Scheduled Outages

During implementation, please observe the following scheduled outages and deadlines:

UCPath will be unavailable from Friday, March 8, 12:00 p.m. - Monday March 11, 6:00 a.m.
Ask UCPath will be unavailable on Saturday, March 9 from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Pending AWE transactions should be approved before the system outage, by Thursday, March 7 at 3:00 p.m.

PUM 47 Upgrade

UCPath updated to PUM 47, the most current supported PeopleSoft HCM Software. This update included a MuleSoft upgrade (MuleSoft 4.4) and a migration of GoAnywhere hosting to Amazon Web Services (AWS). No significant user interface changes were implemented.

Automate Disability Reinstatement

UCPath is working to reduce manual work and errors related to voluntary disability plans. Employees who return from approved leaves of absences now have their voluntary disability plans automatically reinstated, when applicable.
